Who this is for
Owner of a store selling physical products who has been told product pages need safety and maker details and holds the papers in many places.
Your adviser gave you a checklist of details for each product page, and the answers are spread across supplier PDFs and emails.
The result
For up to 50 products you get a sheet where each field on your adviser's checklist is filled from a quoted line of your own documents or marked missing. A missing-papers list shows what to ask suppliers for. We say nothing about whether any product is safe or compliant.
What is included
- Up to 50 products and up to 12 checklist fields supplied by your adviser or a regulator page you name
- Each field filled only from a quoted line of a document you send, with its file and page, or marked missing
- A missing-papers list per supplier
- A test on 10 products with fields your adviser has already filled, 5 sealed from us; the pass mark uses the 5 sealed
- An import file for the fields, dry-run on a test store
You receive
- The details sheet with quoted sources
- The missing-papers list
- The import file
- The dry-run diff
- The test results
What is not included
- Saying a product is safe, compliant or certified
- Writing safety warnings or legal text
- Deciding what the law requires
- Testing products
- Importing into your live store
- More than 50 products without a quote
What we need from you first
- The checklist of fields, or who will supply it
- How many products and what categories
- Which documents you hold
- No store login
Never send passwords, keys, customer records or confidential code in the first enquiry. Secure handover is agreed after scoping.
How we check it is done
- On the 5 products your adviser filled and kept sealed, at least 80% of the fields they filled are also filled by us with the same value, no filled value differs from theirs, and one invented value fails the whole test. Five products is a smoke test, not a rate.
- Every filled field shows a quoted line with the file name and page.
- The sheet states on every page that it records what the documents say and makes no statement about safety or compliance.
- A dry-run import changes only the agreed fields.
You re-run the acceptance checks with the steps we hand over, read the results and sign off in writing. Payment follows sign-off.
When we would stop or decline
- You want us to decide what the law requires or whether a product complies
- Documents are scans or photos that cannot be read
- You want warning text written by us
Questions
Does this make my products compliant?
No. It collects what your papers say. Whether that is enough is for your adviser.
Will you write safety warnings?
No. We copy details from your documents and quote them.
What if papers are missing?
They are listed per supplier so you can ask for them.
Does a pass mean it will be right next month?
No. A pass describes items like the test sample on the day of the test. It is not a promise about future items, and it does not replace your own checking.
Do you research what the law requires?
No. This job only copies details from documents you hold, with a quoted line for each, for your adviser to check. It does not research or state what the law requires.
