Who this is for
Owner of a store who wants price ideas, such as marking down slow movers, but does not want any tool setting live prices on its own.
You looked at AI repricing tools and liked the idea but not the loss of control.
The result
You get a rule set and a script that each week produce a list of suggested price changes. Floors, a weekly change cap and a maximum discount are enforced in code outside any AI model. Over a 14-day trial every list is proposals only and nothing is applied to your store.
What is included
- Up to 300 products, with a floor for each (from your own sheet or the floor job)
- Up to three rules of your choice, such as slow-mover markdown or end-of-season steps
- Limits in code: floor price, maximum change per week, maximum discount depth
- A weekly proposals file (CSV) for you to approve line by line
- A kill-switch note and a restore-previous-prices procedure
- A 14-day trial of two proposal lists
You receive
- The rule set in plain steps
- The proposals script
- The two trial proposal lists
- The kill-switch and restore note
- The limit-check test results
What is not included
- Changing any price in your store
- Using or following competitor prices
- Prices that differ by customer
- Marketplace repricing
- Predicting sales or profit
- Auto-approve of any proposal
What we need from you first
- Which rules you want to try
- How many products and how you export prices
- Whether you have floors
- No store login or competitor data
Never send passwords, keys, customer records or confidential code in the first enquiry. Secure handover is agreed after scoping.
How we check it is done
- Across 1,000 generated and 100 inputs replayed from your own last four weeks of price and sales exports, every proposed price outside the floor, weekly cap or maximum discount is blocked and logged (100%, because this tests code, not a model).
- In the 14-day trial, both proposal lists are proposals only and no price in your store is changed by us.
- Your named person switches the weekly run off and restores the previous prices from the runbook in under 10 minutes.
- The same inputs always give the same proposals when run twice.
You re-run the acceptance checks with the steps we hand over, read the results and sign off in writing. Payment follows sign-off.
When we would stop or decline
- The aim is to follow or coordinate with competitors' prices
- You want proposals applied without your approval
- You want prices that differ by customer
- No floors exist and you will not set any
Questions
Is an AI setting my prices?
No. Rules and limits are plain code. Where a model helps, it only drafts the rule text, and the limits do not depend on it.
Will it follow my competitors?
No. It uses your own sales, stock and floors only.
Can I turn it off?
Yes, and we rehearse that with you. Prices only change when you apply a proposal.
Does a pass mean it will be right next month?
No. A pass describes items like the test sample on the day of the test. It is not a promise about future items, and it does not replace your own checking.
